8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, LaunchPact's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or our service shall not exceed the total fees you have actually paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or reputational harm — even if we were advised of the possibility.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed via good-faith negotiation between you and our grievance officer (see Privacy Policy Section 12). If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in [Chennai], Tamil Nadu, conducted by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
